Evolution of Family Law in Florida

The evolution of family law in Florida refers to a changing order of societal norms and values. This was a major change as it allowed couples to move on without having to engage in contentious litigation (although it can still happen).

Furthermore, a network of shelters and support services have been created for victims, to help them escape abusive situations.

 

There is no doubt that family law in Florida has adapted to reflect the changing nature of families and the issues they face. The evolution of this legal system has seen the adoption of laws to defend the protection of children, the promotion of equality, preventing or stopping domestic violence, and many, many more things. As families continue to evolve in these changing times, family law in Florida will likely continue to evolve as well, to meet their needs.
